In order to process the order, the PNS Catalogue will require clients to provide some of their personal information. The DTI-BPS assures its clients that all collected personal data is utilized for processing and documentation purposes only and that the office adheres to Republic Act (RA) 10173 or the Data Privacy Act (DPA) of 2012 and its Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR).

On top of its new and better organized look, the new S&C Portal, launched in the third quarter of 2019, features the enhanced PNS Catalogue where clients can easily search for their needed standards and make reservations online. Clients may now simply search standards using PNS numbers, keywords or ICS codes. This functionality was not available in the old S&C Portal.

This development is the first phase of the plan of the DTI-BPS to digitally transform and improve the access system for the Philippine National Standards (PNS) for its users through the Ease-y Access of Philippine National Standards (EASY) - Digital Transformation of the PNS Access System Project which is set to be completed by the third quarter of 2020.
